I found it quite interesting this week, that Oprah was quoted that she would not be talking to Sarah Palin on her show before the election. Hmm, Oprah had no problem crying and looking quite enthralled while the chosen one, Barack Obama was speaking at the Democratic Convention. Not that I watch Oprah, I have a real problem understanding the appeal of her show, but I know quite a few women who watch Oprah religously, tape the show and follow all of Oprah's moves. The sheep who read what ever book Oprah features, buy what ever cookbook and cookware that is thrust at them, what ever guru or movie star one should revere. Oprah has made it quite clear who she follows. So why not let Sarah come on the show to give the other side. Does Oprah feel she needs to control who her viewers see and hear? Does she need to fawn over his lordship Barack Obama publically so the sheep know who they need to vote for? If Oprah really wants to prove that Obama is the one her viewers should vote for, then let the other side come on and talk. Her refusal only tells me that Oprah is afraid of Sarah Palin.
